In the month of March we will be learning about the following topics:
We have completed our basic skill for the year so this month we will review the many different skill children have learnedI. I will be putting together a portfolio with samples if these skills.
At this time I would like to invite any child who has a summer birthday to pick a school day in May to send in a treat for their classmates and we will have an early celebration with them. Please drop me a note or email and check the date with me so I do not have to many on the same day.
Camp Out Day
One of the fun end of the year events I will be doing in my classroom is a camp out day. This will be held on Friday May 25th. Children can wear PJ.'s to school with gym shoes. Bring a small blanket or sleeping bag . The children do not need a snack. We will be roasting marshmallows, fishing, and making S'mores.
We attend three specials a week:
Please remember to dress your child in comfortable and easy to put on clothing for preschool. The children must wear gym shoes every day! With the weather changing please make sure your child is warm clothing. If the weather is dry and not to cold we will still go outside for recess.
The full day children will need a new set of extra clothes appropriate for the cold weather, so if you have not sent in a new set please do so. I will return the summer clothes.
Each child brings their own healthy snack. packaged with their name on it. We will provide water to accompany their snack.
